This Privacy Policy explains how LPS Solutions โ the website at lps.solutions (the "Site") and the LPS Solutions Android application (the "App"), operated by LPS Solutions ("we", "us") โ handles information.
The App: audio, transcripts and reports โ on-device only
- Microphone. With your permission, the App records audio through your device's microphone, or imports recordings from an external recorder you connect by USB. Recording only happens when you start it, with a visible ongoing notification.
- On-device processing. Transcription, speaker separation, summaries, and analysis all run locally on your device. Recordings and reports are stored on your device encrypted at rest with hardware-backed keys (Android Keystore). Our servers have no endpoint capable of receiving audio, transcripts, or report content โ this is enforced by architecture, not just policy. Deleting the App deletes this content with it.
- Recording laws. You are responsible for complying with the laws and professional rules that apply to recording conversations in your jurisdiction, including any consent required from participants.
The App: account data we do collect
- Account. Using the App requires signing in (Google or email). We store your email address, name (from Google Sign-In, if used, or as entered), optional organization name, language, and settings, so your plan and preferences follow your account. With Google Sign-In we receive your email, name, and Google account identifier โ never your password.
- Usage metering. After the App processes a recording on-device, it reports only the number of minutes processed (a number โ never content) so we can apply your plan's monthly hours.
- Subscriptions. Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see your card or bank details; Google shares only the subscription status needed to activate your plan.
- No ads. The App contains no advertising. It uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure anonymous app usage (screens viewed, feature usage, device type) - never recordings, transcripts, or report content.
- Deletion. You can delete your account from the App at any time (or by contacting us); this removes your personal data from our systems.
The Site: information we collect
- Contact form. When you contact us we collect the name, email, organization, sector, and message you provide, so we can respond to your enquiry. These fields are submitted voluntarily.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, referring links, approximate location (derived from IP, not stored by us), device and browser type. This helps us understand how the Site is used.
- We do not intentionally collect special-category (sensitive) personal data through the Site.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and communicate with you about a possible pilot or engagement.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Legal bases
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (analytics) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the Site. Where Israeli law applies, we process data in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law.
Service providers
We share limited data with providers who help us run the Site and the App, under their own terms: Cloudflare (hosting, and storage of the App account data described above), Google (Sign-In and Play Billing), Resend (transactional email such as sign-in links and access invitations), HubSpot (handling contact-form submissions), and Google Analytics / Firebase (anonymous usage measurement on the Site and in the App). They process data on our behalf or as independent controllers as applicable.
Cookies
The Site uses analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential functionality does not depend on them.
Retention
We keep contact-form data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymize it, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Site's contact form.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children.
International
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, appropriate safeguards apply.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
